Alistair Rider is Senior Lecturer in the School of Art History. His research and teaching centres on twentieth-century art, with a particular focus on abstraction, sculptural traditions and environmental themes in art.

Dr. James Fortuna
James Fortuna is a cultural historian based in the School of History at the University of St Andrews. His work considers the transatlantic links between design, governance, and identity.

Lesley Franklin
I was Principal of George Heriot’s School, Edinburgh, and retired in 2021 after 26 years at the school. I then returned to my Alma mater, St Andrews University, to undertake an MLitt in Art History and I had a great year of masters study.
