Dr Joshi is an associate lecturer of geography at St Andrews University. Specialising in loneliness and isolation Dr Joshi has worked on the interventions that are emplaced for social support in society.

Mr Lee Chambers
Opposition
Lee Chambers is a business psychologist, male allyship specialist and speaker. He is the founder of Male Allies UK and Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing. Chambers was inducted as a Kavli Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences in 2023.

Ksenia Baatz
Proposition
Ksenia is a second year computer science and philosophy student and debater from New York. She enjoys discussing Deluze, graphic design and sci fi classics like Bradbury and Asimov.

Cara Shepherd
Proposition
Cara works across the policy and lobbying space and recently completed her master's study with a dissertation focusing on increasing inequality in abortion access in Central and Eastern Europe. She is also a former President of the UDS in what feels like a previous lifetime!
